Conroe Drywall Co. is an insured residential and commercial drywall contractor working throughout Conroe, the surrounding Montgomery County communities, and selected nearby areas. We have been hanging, finishing, and repairing gypsum board here since 2011 — long enough to know how houses in Grand Central Park differ from the older homes off Downtown Conroe, and long enough to have textures on file that most crews have to guess at.

Our work covers drywall repair, drywall installation, finishing and texturing, ceiling repair, and new construction drywall, along with metal stud framing, popcorn ceiling removal, and acoustic ceilings and soundproofing. On a repair, we start by finding the full extent of the damage instead of covering the part you can see. Depending on the opening, that may be a California patch that bonds through its own paper border, or a full cut-out rebuilt over new backing.

On new board, we match the material and the finish level to the room rather than defaulting to whatever is on the truck: moisture-resistant board in humid spaces, Type X in fire-rated assemblies, and a Level 5 skim coat where raking light would expose anything less. We follow recognized industry standards, including ASTM C840 for gypsum board application and finishing and the Gypsum Association’s GA-214 finish level classifications, and we clean up the site before we leave it.
